Multi Use

Zehntenscheune

This listed barn is part of the Mühle Hegi complex. It has been converted into a meeting center.

The second floor is used as a recreational space for the local church and was also used to provide food to people in need and is rented for events.

It also has several meeting rooms and offices.

To dampen the sound of so many people gathered in a relatively open space, we designed a sound dampening system that blends in unnoticed. The wooden slats are spaced apart and behind them are soft wood fiber boards.

the stairs do not even touch the floor

A metal and glass bridge creates the connection between the two parts. The bent steel stairs hangs from it without touching the ground.
